Practice update

Water Leak

Following the major water leak at West Quay Medical Centre, we are currently unable to open our automated doors at the rear entrance of the surgery.

Please use the main entrance when attending.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Surgery Closure

The surgery will be closed on Wednesday 19th June from 13:00 for essential staff training.

Our phone lines will be open as normal the following day (Thursday 20th June) from 08:00 with the surgery opening at 08:20.

Please contact the Out of Hours Team on 01446 729562 should you require urgent medical advice whilst we are closed.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Home Visits

Doctor's bagWhilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible. In this respect, if you do need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception before 10:00 and by providing us with suitable details.

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP may contact you via telephone in order to prioritise home visits.

You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP.

You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby.
