PLEASE BE

YOU SHOULD NOT ATTEND SURGERY - PLEASE TELEPHONE AND
REQUEST ADVICE FROM THE DOCTOR

Eligible patients are:
- individuals aged between six months and up to 64 years in the current
seasonal flu vaccine clinical at-risk groups:
- diabetes,
- asthmatic,
- copd (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease),
- ihd (ischaemic heart disease) and strokes,
- neurological problems such as multiple sclerosis
- all pregnant women, subject to licensing conditions on which is the
appropriate trimester to administer the vaccine – yet to be clarified.
- household contacts of immuno-compromised individuals
- people aged 65 and over in the current seasonal flu vaccine clinical at-risk
group

PRESCRIBING OF GLUCOSAMINE
Please note that the practice, from December 1st 2009, will no longer be
prescribing Glucosamine tablets. This decision is in line with the guidance from
Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. Should you have any queries regarding
this, please contact them directly. |
